Deep Conditioning
All of us are aware that deep conditioning is the best way to keep our tresses stress-free. Hair gets dried out and damaged due to heat of style tools, hair-color, chemical treatments, exposure to sun, cold, etc. Deep conditioning gets rid of almost all the problems but the question here is how often we should deep condition our hair for best results.
How Often?
There is no fixed number of times for deep conditioning. It varies from person to person. What can help you determine is first start out with once a week. If you tresses look limp and lifeless then once a week is not for you. You should then try every fortnight or every ten days. But doing it once a week and your hair is still all dried up then push it up to twice or thrice a week.
Be Regular
For any treatment to work you have to make sure you are regularly doing it. It is a regimen that needs to be followed like the Holy Book. Deep Conditioning as per your mood-swings won’t do you much good. Keep a routine that is manageable by you and work at maintaining it. It is worth the pain when you see the gloss in your hair.
Warm it up!
Sounds weird? Not really. Keeping a long story short; warming up your conditioner to about 95 Degrees Fahrenheit will make your hair super-soft and super strong.
Start at the Ends
Always start your deep conditioning process at the ends. Reasons being, the ends are the oldest and driest parts of your hair and are more prone to damage and breakage.
Don’t overdo it!
As the old saying goes; too much of a good thing is not good. The same goes with deep conditioning. Depending on the damage and hair condition your conditioning regimen should match the requirement of your hair.
